A group portrait of your company staff, leadership team or board of directors can be used as a powerful marketing tool to convey the strength and professionalism of your organization. A team portrait should be an essential part of any digital marketing strategy. Additionally, a printed portrait displayed in the customer, client or patient areas of your business personalizes and instills confidence in your team.
Part of what makes an effective group portrait is the planning that goes into the photo shoot. John Hartman has been making companies and organizations look good since 1974. His people skills, professionalism and technical experience will insure that your team photograph will be the best it can possibly be. He also understands the value of your team’s time—so part of that planning includes being completely prepared at the photo shoot. The primary goal may be to get an outstanding portrait, but it also should be done quickly and efficiently to minimize your team’s downtime.

Getting a group together for a photograph can be a challenge. It can be difficult to get everyone in a single place at the same time. Pulling them out of their work, even for a short time, can be costly. And as your team grows and evolves, you don’t have to get them together all over again. In 2007 John pioneered the concept of making individual portraits and then placing them into a single group photo.
As your staffing changes, they can be photographed at our studio and added to the group portrait—so your organization can always have a current team portrait, with minimum disruption, saving both time and money.

For most companies, the initial need for a group portrait is for marketing and advertising purposes on their website and social media. But another powerful marketing tool is a finished wall potrait displayed in your office, reception area or boardroom. It introduces your staff to your clients by personalizing them and shows the both the strength and the humanity of your organization.

The first step is to call John to discuss your ideas. He will talk with you to help determine the need and use for the photograph and the style or mood you want the image to convey. He will also discuss possible photo shoot locations and provide you with all the information you will need to make your portraits the best they can be. If you prefer, he will meet with you at your office to go over the details of the entire process. He will also provide you with a step-by-step timeline, delivery dates and project costs.
At that time you can schedule a convenient time and date for the photography session. You will be able to pick your favorite images right at the photoshoot—there is no need for you to come back to the studio. The finished electronic files will be delivered within two business days, and any finished printed photographs in two weeks or less.
